Beten Bukit is simply a fantastic villa. Situated at the foot of the sacred mountain, there is nothing to obstruct the view. The huge swimming pool and gardens are beautiful and maintained daily, keeping them looking immaculate. The villa itself is enormous and offers a choice of three bedrooms. We felt thoroughly pampered the entire time, as the staff took such excellent care of us. We had originally planned to dine out, but Iluh’s cooking was so good that the idea never even came up. We did, however, explore the nearby warungs for lunch, and they were fantastic. We also took a sunrise hike up the mountain, which was breathtaking. Thanks to Putu, Made, Nyoman, Iluh, and Kadek. Also, thanks to Lisette, the owner, who was so helpful with information and recommendations. We can’t wait to come back.

This is the second time we have stayed at the villa and everything was perfect once again!
For the final week of our stay a group of friends joined us and stayed in the neighbouring villas.
Putu, Iluh (x2) and Kadek (x2) went above and beyond to make us all comfortable. The food and service was  wonderful.
Kenik and the others that drove us to from the airport and to our different activities were so obliging.
We had the most amazing holiday and the rest of the group had such a great time too. For some of them it was their first time in Bali and I’m sure they’ll be back!
We did our PADI course with Kadek at Mame diving school and loved it. Kenik also arranged to take 4 of us up Ijen. It was amazing!!
We are already planning when we can come back again!Thanks so much

I don’t even know where to start with this villa and the amazing staff, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything and I mean everything was perfect!!! the villa itself and the gardens are just heaven, we spent long lazy days by the pool just taking it all in as it’s too beautiful to leave, and when we did leave to explore we couldn’t wait to get back. the staff …. literally incredible and the most genuine, helpful and gracious people I’ve had the pleasure to meet, always wearing the most sincere smiles and nothing is an issue. perfect location with everything you need just down the lane which is a wonderful drive itself, seeing the locals potter on with daily life and always happy to say good morning and give a wave…. you have stolen my heart in more ways I wasn’t expecting, and I promise we will be back… thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything 😊

What an idyllic place! The Villa and the grounds were kept in immaculate condition. Special thanks to Iluh and Kadek for looking after us and our 1yr old, cooking delicious food and cleaning. And to all the gardeners who kept the place looking beautiful. The villa is right up the end of the road so I would definitely recommend renting a scooter, Putu (the host) can organise for you. The village of Pemuteran is beautiful and definitely recommend exploring. Thank you very much team, would come back in a heartbeat

Just Amazing!

We had the enormous pleasure of staying at Villa Bukit with our family. The house is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature with great views of the hills. At the same time, it’s close to some lovely warungs and within walking distance of the beach.
We got to try a variety of local and traditional dishes prepared by Iluh and her team, as well as delicious pancakes and fresh fruit for breakfast. Every meal was a amazing!
The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and has plenty of nice areas to relax and spend time together.
Lisette and Putuh were also incredibly helpful – they gave us great tips and helped organize many fun activities in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
We really hope to come back soon to enjoy the villa again and explore more of the amazing surroundings.

Our stay in Pemuteran was wonderful! From the very first moment, we felt welcome and relaxed at Vila Betèn Bukit.
All the people in and around the house took great care of us. They helped plan fun activities, but what surprised us every evening was the incredibly delicious food. We felt very spoiled.
Surrounded by hospitality, we had a wonderfully relaxing vacation and we would love to come back again!

A great place, we were really well looked after, the staff are amazing and the location and house are lovely. The pool was fantastic and we really love the gardens. However, the road to the house is not walkable to anywhere, you really need a moped hire. For 2 people the villa was fabulous, the second bedroom downstairs would be great for family, 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is no inside lounge, we were happy watching Netflix outside and in the bedroom but with all the space inside, a second lounging area would be good. There’s a daybed upstairs but it’s very hot up there and you need to sit on the floor. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend.

We spent a month at this Villa and the experience was exceptional! The house and grounds are stunning, and the staff made the stay an absolute luxury experience. Breakfast is on offer each morning and the staff keep the house clean during your stay. The manager is also available to arrange things like scuba diving g, massage and local excursions. It’s a hotel quality experience with all the privacy of a home! The Villa is very private giving guests a chance to unwind as they prefer but town in only a 5 min moto bike away where you’ll find some great restaurants, coffee, and the beach! (Note: You’ll want a scooter if coming and going after dark as the local dogs are a bit intimidating). We recommend this property highly!

A peaceful setting

My family and I (ages 8-45) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. The road leading to it was bumpy and narrow, but the villa is truly a hidden gem. A beautiful, quiet and peaceful setting. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and very well maintained, including the garden and pool. Putu, the concierge, met us on arrival and provided us with cold, fresh juice and chilled washcloths to freshen up with, which was very welcome after a long drive from the airport. During our stay, Putu organized several excursions at short notice (swimming with dolphins and releasing baby turtles into the sea). We ate all our meals at the villa. Iluh & Kadek, the housekeepers and cooks cooked wonderful meals at very reasonable prices. Soft drinks and beer always available in the refrigerator (extra charge). The two ladies were always friendly, helpful and accommodating. We really cannot recommend this villa enough. Many thanks to all the staff for the good care 🙏🏼

I have been booking ABB properties all around the world for 10 years. This is the best property I have ever stayed at. The villa itself is excellent with beautiful wrap around decks. The gardens are simply breathtaking. 4000m2 of immaculate gardens with a gorgeous 15 metre pool. The staff are outstanding. Like a 5 star resort all to yourself. Thankyou for 10 glorious nights.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Beten Bukit. While the villa is certainly remote – about a 10 minute walk up a dirty road to the main strip, and another five minutes or so to the beach – it offers you the chance to relax in the serenity of the beautiful, lush gardens and comfortable house. There seems to be a microclimate in the gardens which kept it cooler, with the pool always at the perfect temperature. Putu, the Property Manager, is easily contactable and was very helpful and friendly – we organised a day of snorkelling and massages by the villa’s pool. Iluh, the Cook, prepared us delicious breakfasts (included in the stay) as well as other meals at an affordable price – we highly recommend the Nasi Kuning for dinner, and the banana pancakes for breakfast. Beds were comfy, aircon works well, bathrooms are spacious and there are many places to sit and enjoy the stillness of the villa’s surrounds. As an added bonus, there are two cute dogs – Toby and Nina. Thank you Lisette, Putu, Iluh and all the staff for a great stay – we’d love to visit again one day!

An amazing villa on the edge of the mountain. 15/20 min walk to the beach. Clean with attentive staff. Swimming pool and outside seating in a huge well kept garden. Mangoe trees and a beautiful pond. The security arrives in the evening making us feel safe. Breakfast was included and served daily. Recommend a relaxing break

“We had a great time in this wonderful villa. The villa is beautiful and fully equipped. There is everything you might need. The garden is breathtaking with a lot of different trees and flowers and a view on the mountains right behind the villa. The staff was really friendly and took care that you are not missing anything. They booked diving trips for us, made restaurant reservations and organized free pick ups. The breakfast they served was very delicious. I celebrated my birthday in the villa and the staff decorated everything really pretty that day and made a fantastic dinner for us in the evening.

The villa is in a village neighborhood but it is really quiet. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

In addition to that the contact to Lisette, the owner of the villa, was really good. She answers all the questions immediately and has a lot of recommendations for trips in the surrounding.

We went to Pémuteran intending to scuba and snorkel everyday, but we loved this airbnb so much that we would spent entire days lounging around by the pool, enjoying the time relaxing. Putu made sure every need was taken care of, and he organized several excursions for us. If you’re on the fence about staying here, do it. I cant emphasize enough how good for the soul this place was.

The villa as absolutely fantastic. The garden is beautiful and constantly tended to keep it looking so fabulous, a real green oasis. The amenities in and outside are so well thought out, and provide luxurious and comfortable seating and relaxing areas all around the house, garden and pool. This really is a place that you can relax and unwind in luxury. To make this all happen are a dedicated team of people. Gardeners, housekeeper, night watchman and manager. The housekeeper Iluh is wonderful, so adaptable and friendly, she really is dedicated to making your stay comfortable and relaxing, and her cooking is delicious, and she is more than happy to come back to cook lunch and dinner as well. Iluh is a real asset providing true Balinese hospitality. Putu, the house manager is available to arrange anything you need and was able to give advise and guidance about the local area and organise trips and services for us at short notice and all at good rates. We did diving, National Park walks, dolphin watching and massages. It is a perfect tranquil and private villa in a quiet part of Bali. Pemuteran is a lovely low key village with a beautiful clean beach and great snorkelling. The beach is a 20 minutes walk away. We found it really difficult to leave and would love to be back there. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
