  1. What’s the weather like in Bali – Permuteran?
    Bali has a tropical climate, due to its proximity to the equator. Temperatures are averaging 31 degrees Celsius during the year. High humidity can be expected during the Wet Season. This is between the months of October – April. The Dry Season is between the months of May – September, which have also the lowest humidity. The Wet Season brings daily rain and quiet overcast days with the most rain recorded between December – February.
    Because the villas are located 50 meters above sea-level, cooling breezes can be felt, which make living ultimately comfortable in a tropical climate
  2. What’s the currency of Indonesia?
    The Indonesian Rupiah is the currency in Indonesia (ID, IDN). The symbol for IDR can be written Rp. The Indonesian Rupiah is divided into 100 sen.
  3. What are the sight-seeings in North Bali?
    Early morning dolphin watching boat trips are available at Permuteran. By no means guaranteed, but you have a good chance of finding a pod here.The beaches are especially nice in this area and consist of a particularly fine grained gray sand. Menjangan Island and West Bali National Park are easily reached from here. The Menjangan Island boats depart from Labuhan Lalang which is a 15 minute ride west from Pemuteran.There are also some beautiful reefs just off shore, Napoleon Reef, Close Encounters, Temple wall and Temple Garden are great fun and beautiful.A boat-trip with a glass bottom is another interesting thing to explore the beautiful reefs.

    Proyek Penyu is a turtle breeding and release program run by one of the dive operators in co-operation with local villagers. Very much worth a visit and certainly worth your support.

    The area around Pulaki village just east of Pemuteran is full of vineyards and is the centre of the grape growing industry in Bali.

    Bali is a great place to walk or get around by bicycle.

    Discover the volcanoes of East Java and the spectacular lakes around the Island.

    Bird watching guided tours or if you want to have a guide for a mountain climb ; it can be booked as well in the national park, Taman National Bali Barat, in Pemuteran, it is a fantastic experience.

    Bali Tower with great Java views is actually located in the Bali Barat National Park, where off 55.000 hectares is protected area. You can hike here through forests, enjoy great diving and explore extensive coastal mangroves.

    There are more than 200 species of plant growing in the park and interesting fauna. The bird life is prolific.  You can book tours and safari’s with them ( you might see some unique wildlife).

  4. What is the best way of transportation in Bali?
    You will have no problem renting a car in Bali. Permuteran is a great place to walk or get around by bicycle. We will be able to help if you decide you need to rent a motorbike or car.
    The beaches are especially nice in this area. Make a refreshing walk in the morning by sea-side. What else do you need?
  5. Is it possible to dive nearby Pemuteran?
    Yes. Diving and snorkelling is excellent at the Island of Bali. Pemuteran is small village nearby the ocean. Visibility is excellent and there are reef fishes, turtles, and hard and soft corals. Pemuteran is home to the largest artificial Biorock reef project in the world and there is a real spirit of marine conservation effort in this area! You may want to get up early and see dolphins.
    You can charter a boat easily from the beach. There are a lot of PADI accredited dive operator in Pemuteran.
